The Clifton Fire Protection District's response area spans from 30 road to 35 road and Interstate 70 to the Colorado River. Clifton operates out of one station using a cross-staffing model. The annual call volume for 2023 was 4,300+ 911 calls. Clifton Fire Protection District (CFPD) also provides mutual and automatic aid to neighboring agencies within the county.
CFPD is looking for dedicated part-time members interested in making a difference in their community with strengths in teamwork, strong work ethic and a positive attitude. You must be over the age of 18 to apply and have a current CPR provider card and current National Registry or Colorado EMT or higher. Firefighter/EMT applicants must also have current FFI and Hazmat Ops certifications. Part time employees must work at least 24 hours in a bi-weekly pay period.
