Leadership
Chief Brian Cherveny started with the Clifton Fire Protection District in January of 2024. Chief Cherveny previously worked with the Grand Junction Fire Department and held the positions of Firefighter/Paramedic, Captain and Battalion Chief.
Chief Cherveny oversees everything relating to operations including incident responses and apparatus. Chief Cherveny enjoys Mesa County for its outdoor recreation opportunities; his favorites are hiking and spending time outdoors with family.
