CFPD Crews respond to a house fire call in the early hours of November 30th.
On November 30, 2025, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Clifton Fire Protection District (CFPD) crews were dispatched to a reported fire alarm in the 3000 block of Shadowbrook Court. While units were en route, dispatch upgraded the call to a residential structure fire with reports of a house filled with smoke.
Clifton Engine 21 and Truck 21 responded and requested mutual aid from the Grand Junction Fire Department, including two engines and an ambulance (Engine 2, Engine 8, and Ambulance 2).
Firefighters quickly located the source of the smoke and worked to ventilate the residence. No injuries were reported. One resident was displaced. The cause of the incident remains under investigation. CFPD would like to thank Grand Junction Fire Department for their assistance.
