CFPD Responds to a House Fire 

On November 4, 2025, at approximately 11:18 a.m., the Clifton Fire Protection District (CFPD) was dispatched to the area of Bookcliff Avenue and Kirby Lane for reports of a house fire.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire had started in the kitchen and spread to the attic. Crews worked quickly to extinguish the flames. Unfortunately one person was transported to the hospital with injuries.

CFPD thanks Grand Junction Fire Department and Mesa County Sheriff's Office for their assistance and support during fire suppression efforts.
