Message from the Fire Chief

To the Residents, Stakeholders, and Members of the Clifton Fire Protection District:
It is my privilege to introduce the 2025 Master and Strategic Plan for the Clifton Fire Protection District. This document serves as the structural blueprint for the future of our organization, defining our priorities, addressing our challenges, and guiding our decisions as we continue to grow alongside the community we serve.
A central focus of this plan is the modernization and expansion of our facilities. Our current station, while functional, no longer meets the operational demands of today’s fire service. This plan outlines a phased approach to improve infrastructure, including the potential construction of a new main fire station and, if feasible, a smaller satellite station designed to improve response times in the southern portion of the District. These improvements align with the recommendations of our Strategic Plan and will be further detailed in our soon-to-be-updated Capital Improvement Plan.
In addition to facility upgrades, this plan addresses critical needs in staffing, apparatus replacement, and operational support. Each of these components is designed to ensure safe, effective service delivery while planning responsibly for the future.
The 2025 Master and Strategic Plan is more than just a vision—it is a practical, community-informed framework that ensures Clifton Fire remains strong, responsive, and ready to meet the needs of today and tomorrow.
I’m grateful for the collaboration that brought this plan to life, and I thank our Board, staff, and community partners for their commitment to our shared future. Together, we’re building the foundation for the next generation of public safety in Clifton.
